I logged into my Gmail account this morning and voila, Gmail Talk is active. It works brilliantly – totally smashes the overhead of running a third party app, and its quick and intuitive. I especially love the feature where if you type a smiley, it does a magical inline rotation and conversion to a smiley type icon!!
