Unreal, in a little over 48 hours, tectonic has managed to get pledges to the value of R42500, 85% of the amount required to tell Telkom just how much we hate them.
There’s got to be something wrong with telecoms in SA when this sort of enthusiasm to stick it to the man prevails.

So Tectonic has mobilized in the form of the Telecoms Action Group.
It’s about time we as consumers made our voices heard about the sorry state of telecoms in South Africa, and this is going to be huge. A full page ad in a national newspaper is the target, spreadfirefox style.
I’m pledging R500. I challenge readers to lay down a pledge too (oh, and pay it later too!).
Maybe, just maybe this will help get some proper reaction from government.
The most awesome thing: the email and pledge site went up sometime yesterday, and in less than 24 hours Tectonic is almost 40% to the target amount of R50 000!!!
That’s a sure sign of how frustrated we all are.
