I can vividly recall seeing Fiona Apple’s “Not About Love” on TV back in 2005. At the time it seemed quirky yet funny, and the music was dark and interesting, especially when combined with Fiona’s haunting voice. I soon purchased the album. This morning I realized it was actually Zach “The Hangover” Galifianakis that got me sold on Fiona Apple all those years ago. Here’s the music vid:
Electronic psychedelic rock outfit The Black Angels performed a Tiny Desk Concert, without the electronics, at NPR Music’s offices. Awesome stuff.
